Men's Costuming Kits in One Inch Scale

Men's  dress clothing has not altered very much over time. What we consider formal tails was worn through the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries as well as today. In addition, the traditional butler's garments consisted of  tails, usually of an inferior grade of cloth and a black tie.  The gentleman's version is white tie only.

This kit is designed to help you dress a porcelain doll in trousers, shirt, white silk vest , tailcoat with black silk lapels, collar, tie and cuffs.  Some experience dressing miniature dolls is recommended.  $20.00

Dress a handsome male porcelain doll in a contemporary semi-casual outfit of slacks, sport shirt and tie (tie is optional) using fine handsewing and gluing techniques. The same basic outfit has been in style since the beginning of the 20th century, so it is not essential that you young man be right up to the minute (sans cell-phone of course!) You will make a simple wig and accessorize him with cell phone, map, binoculars and small bag. $20.00

Construct a double breasted  overcoat to fit a male porcelain doll or display in a setting. Add a nice warm scarf and your man is prepared for all kinds of  cold weather.  The coat is based on  a full sized pattern for a topcoat from the 1920's.  Please check for available fabrics before ordering.
